What is Webroot SecureAnywhere and what does it do?
Webroot SecureAnywhere is a cloud-based security product that protects against viruses, ransomware and phishing while keeping the installed client extremely small and fast.
Is Webroot safe and effective?
Yes. Webroot uses cloud-based behavioural analysis rather than local signature files, and can journal and roll back changes made by an unknown program that later turns out to be malicious.
Where do I find my Webroot keycode?
The 20-character keycode is in your purchase confirmation email, on the retail card, or under My Account at webroot.com. Contact us if the keycode is rejected during activation.
Why is my Webroot scan finishing so quickly?
That is expected behaviour. Because detection happens in the cloud, a full scan typically finishes in a couple of minutes rather than the hour a signature-based scanner would take.
Can I use Webroot on multiple devices?
Yes. Internet Security Plus covers up to five devices and Internet Security Complete covers five devices plus cloud backup, across Windows, Mac and Android.
How do I completely remove Webroot from Windows?
Uninstall from Apps and Features, then restart and remove any leftover WRData folder. Our technicians can run a clean removal remotely if the uninstaller fails.
